The fun of Koi raising is to watch Koi growing bigger and more beautiful year by year. This is the very Koi that realized the excitement. I remember she won Best in 80 Bu in 2006 and 85 Bu in 2007. And this year, she won the biggest award.

The thick trunk-like body is simply breathtaking. Starting with the handsome face, the body goes with the big shoulder, the thick girth and tail section. It is the body that makes her swim even more gracefully.

Fukurin is also must-mention on this Koi. When you look at her skin, especially Shiroji, the netting pattern is so clear and wonderful. Having Fukurin is a proof of its high quality skin. The lustrous Hi is simply gorgeous. The unique pattern performs to its max along with the body and skin quality.

After all, she was well presented in good finish with beautiful luster. I sincerely congratulate the owner for this achievement.

The powerful and striking Showa holds the distinguished presence.

Vivid contrast of Hi, Sumi and Shiroji on such a body conformation is the biggest attraction of this Koi. Sumi runs powerfully throughout its body. The Sumi dynamically runs from the head to the left shoulder and quickly turns the other side of the back. Odome is nice, too. It ends with Sumi, Hi and white precisely. This is the Showa that gets everybody’s attention.

Exquisite Sandan Kohaku

This is a typical and gorgeous three step Kohaku. The large and quality Hi plates are equally distributed in perfect balance on the distinguished body conformation. Please look at its Kiwa of the first Hi plate. It is a perfect Maruzome shape and it proves the excellence of its quality. Fukurin, or the netting pattern of scales, are extremely great.
Some may question about its red eye. It is true that red eye is rather a negative on her. But when it comes to the excellent quality like hers, it becomes very minor one. After all, no Koi is perfect just like us.

The unique presence makes his impression unforgettable.

This is such an extraordinary Showa. Strong Sumi on its nose and shoulder matches perfectly with Hi on the head to create eye-catching contrast. Having Sumi on its tail section keeps good balance with those on the upper side.

Kohaku pattern on the body is well distributed on shoulder, back and tail. Developing Sumi on each section makes us excited hoping this Koi may become even better in future.

Beautiful Sanke with elegant presence

Maruten that expands fully on its head is attractive. Right after, the quality Hi rhythmically runs like a winding road. Its Hi pattern itself is already that of outstanding Koi. What makes her even more attractive is its Tsubozumi or Sumi at critical positions. Sumi on the left shoulder gives a punch first. The following Sumi on the right side of the trunk and the one at the center of the tail section keep an exquisite balance. The amount of Sumi is just right. Clean Shiroji appropriately left on the right shoulder and left side of the trunk combines with the Hi and Sumi beautifully. This is a sophisticated looking Sanke.

The stunning Kohaku

The beauty is very difficult to describe because the pictures says everything. The body has a very strong built. On the powerful body, the three-step pattern shows off itself. Although it is a three-step pattern, it is not a typical one. With the perfect entry on its head, leaving the nice white gulf on the shoulder it covers the back dynamically. The second and the third Hi is just perfect to support the first unique pattern. The quality of Hi is needless to say.

The distinguished body with such a high quality Hi and pattern really shows the presence of the king.

Well-finished beauty

This is the very living jewels. Although it has a dynamic and dominant Hi pattern, appropriate amount of Shiroji on the right, left shoulder and the tail section help it not to look too heavy. Along that, Sumi at each part add accents to its beauty. I would like to congratulate the owner for its raising skill.

Nicely presented Koi, yet with full of potential

Bold Sumi on its nose and diagonal Sumi across Hi come into our eyes first. As taking a closer look, we notice how exquisitely Sumi, Hi and Shiroji are placed. The Odome, the way it ends on the tail section is nothing but beautiful. This is still a young Koi with full of potential. Looking forward to seeing this Koi again next year.

On the cute body, Hi and Sumi are presented in good balance and well-finished condition. Several Sumi on the back is a charming point of this Koi. When Sumi appears more on the tail section, it would become more beautiful Koi.
