[Commentary]
This Kohaku took Grand Champion at the 42nd All Japan Koi Show in 2011. It is incredible thing that same koi took GC twice. Moreover this Nishikigoi
is great, I have to mention that keeping skill is very much outstanding.
This achievement has been able to be accomplished because of remarkable keeping skill.

Showa is the last variety in Gosanke which become Jumbo, however, you can find that Showa grow into gigantic as same as Kohaku and Sanke. This is such a wonderful Showa which has soft atmosphere and body even it become enormous.

The difficulty of Sanke is location of Sumi. The location of Sumi on this Sanke is remarkable. Sumi on the shoulder and Sumi on the second part are outstanding. |

This Nishikigoi was nominated as Kokugyo Male in 85Bu last year. Hopefully, it became Superior Male Champion this year. The volume of Sumi on the head is slightly less than last year but keeping this body confirmation is wonderful. |

This Kohaku can be good example of great Kohaku in text book because of Maruten, Sandan and unique patter on the body. The Shiroji space on shoulder emphasize good quality of skin.

Lately, level of Doitsu Showa is getting higher and higher. The quality of Doitsu Showa became good enough to take Baby Champion. Sumi pattern is very dynamic and you may not be able to forget if you look once. |

The exhibited Nishikigoi are categorized into divisions based on
their body length. Each division, beginning from the 15th up to the
90th,
consists
of 5 sub-divisions. The numbers represent the Nishikigoi’s
length (in centimeters).
For example, the 15th division includes Nishikigoi of length up to
15cm (6 inches), the 30th division from 25 to 30cm (from 10 to 12 inches),
the 80th division from 75 to 80cm (from 30 to 32 inches), and the 90th
division of over 85cm (34 inches). Nishikigoi over 50cm (20 inches,
Nishikigoi in the 55th division and above) are categorized into the
